Mankato Hotel Employee Receives Lion’s Club Award

Deanna Wheelock, the food & beverage director at the Mankato City Center Hotel, recently received the Lions Club International Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.

The award is considered the Lions Club's highest honor and is given to recognize a person's commitment to humanitarian service.

The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award is named after the founder of Lions and is one of the highest award given to a Lion. On rare occasions, this award is presented to a non-Lion to show appreciation for what they have done for the Lions organization.
