Brave the cold and enjoy a unique winter experience at Urbana Craeft Kitchen with their seasonal Ice Bar. Located adjacent to the Hyatt Regency at Mall of America, this cold-weather attraction is running through mid-February in partnership with Fulton Beer.

The Ice bar offers hot cocktails, wine, and Minnesota-based beers as well as newly-launched craft cocktails such as the Nutty Buddy, a spiked hot chocolate; the Dubliner Coffee, a cherry and vanilla hinted Irish coffee; and the Honey Cider, a ginger-based alcoholic hot apple cider. Other alcoholic offerings include the St. Paul Manhattan, the Winter Spice Mule, Apothic wines, La Marca prosecco, 300 Mosaic IPA and Fulton’s Lonely Blonde on draft. A portion of wine proceeds will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland, a Minneapolis-St. Paul Food Bank working to end hunger.

“At Urbana Craeft Kitchen, we offer a taste of place, and celebrate Minnesota and its rich heritage,” says Executive Chef Paul Lynch. “In the summer, we celebrate the season with our straw bale garden, and now the Ice Bar allows us to honor Minnesota’s winter by encouraging our guests to get outside. We look forward to welcoming guests to this new signature experience.”

The Ice Bar is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. through mid-February, if weather permits. It features a custom ice-sculpted bar by Chris Swarbrick of Ice Occasions as well as fire pits for guest to keep warm while enjoying their local libations. Year round, Urbana Craeft Kitchen offers locally-sourced, seasonal Minnesota cuisine from German to Scandinavian dishes.

Make sure to stop by before it’s too late!

Minneapolis’ new event venue has a lot to offer.

St. Louis Park is so close to Minneapolis, the two cities actually share a ZIP code. That proximity though does not necessarily lead to a crazy urban environment. St. Louis Park blends the best parts of Minnesota’s largest city with suburb amenities. Free parking, great shopping and a bustling social scene compliment a variety of experiences and activities perfect for meeting and event groups. We’ve highlighted a few of our favorites here.
