Tattersall Distilling reveals its first event space, Clover Club. Adjacent to the original Tattersall building, Clover Club is a 7,000-square-foot with 2,400 square feet used as the event space and the rest dedicated to barrel storage.

"We are incorporating many of the same design pieces from the existing bar into the new event space. This includes actually removing the bar top from our main bar and using it in the Clover Club. We’ll be replacing the bar top in the main bar for a bit of an update," says Jon Kreidler, co-founder/chief officer of Tattersall. "We have never had a private event space, and we have never closed our cocktail room for private events, despite many requests, so this is really an exciting chance for us to share our space with even more people and meet that demand."

Clover Club, which is a more intimate space for up to 50 people, will offer customizable service and menus, while still featuring some of the distillery's classics.

"One of our head bartenders, Alice Brandt, will be leading the bar program in the new space and will leverage both the constant R&D from the main bar, but also her incredibly creative background to make the menu very unique. We are playing around with the idea of having special spirits that will only be available to guests in the Clover Club," Kreidler says.

Kreidler says they are planning on making Clover Club a very flexible event space, offering private distillery tours, cocktail classes, barrel tastings, dinner and cocktail pairings, and more. They are also working on a plan for charitable groups to use the space for a deep discount, helping various causes, he adds.

But Clover Club isn't the only exciting news at Tattersall. They also recently launched their first bottled, ready-to-drink cocktail, Old Fashioned. It features Tattersall's signature Rye Whiskey, Sour Cherry Liqueur, aromatic bitters, and a dash of orange zest and sugar. 

The bottled Old Fashioned is sold at select retailers in a 750ml bottle for $34.99. It is recommended to consume it the Tattersall way: simply and over ice.

On Monday, Nov. 4, Zen Box Izakaya and Lowry Hill Meats are partnering for a Butcher x Ramen Popup from 5-9 p.m. at Lowry Hill Meats. Featuring Japanese comfort food like barnyard ramen and fiery bird ramen, as well as fine cuts of meat like smoked pork brisket and smoked chicken leg, the Butcher x Ramen Popup will offer the best of these Minneapolis food scene icons.

 

Hotel Emery and Fleur de Lis are teaming up for a Brunch, Blooms and Bottomless Bubbly event on Sunday, Oct. 20. The event will include a family-style brunch from Emery's restaurant Giulia and executive chef  Josh Hedquist and a floral design session instructed by Fleur de Lis experts. With a lobby filled with lush greenery, Emery makes for the perfect location for a floral-focused event.
