Recipe courtesy of Parlour bar, which serves up killer craft cocktails in a relaxing lounge that boasts large windows perfect for people-watching. The recently opened bar shared with us a drink that lets you cast your worries aside. The Lion King is perfect for sipping in the crisp fall weather, featuring a pumpkin taste with a hint of nutmeg. Much like its movie namesake, this drink is a classic, and fit for royalty.

As the number of vaccinations across the country increases, the amount of live events and gatherings will hopefully rise with it. However, that doesn’t mean the way people gather will go back to normal instantly: there may be an adjustment period before bars, theaters, stadiums and churches are all full of people again.

Spacing, social distancing, and creativity will be vital for planners and venues in the meantime, and tools like staging, seating, and more will be crucial for the execution of these.

As co-presidents of Eureka Recycling, a social enterprise dedicated to demonstrating that waste is preventable—not inevitable—Kate Davenport and Lynn Hoffman want to help planners think beyond recycling bins and compost collection.
