• BĒT Vodka Brings the Booze to You with New Travel Bar Cart

BĒT Vodka is taking its popular craft cocktails to the streets with its new travel bar, which opened in June. The travel bar can be set up indoors or outdoors and can be customized with signage or other furnishings to suit your event.

"BĒT Vodka is an extremely versatile spirit and we have many thoughtfully crafted cocktails for vodka drinkers and non-vodka drinkers alike. Today’s consumer seeks curated and unique experiences that are rooted in a local story, and our travel bar personifies this," says Ben Brueshoff, founder of BĒT Vodka.

Because BĒT Vodka doesn't have its own distillery, the travel bar and Henry, their 1951 vintage Dodge farm truck, act as their brick-and-mortar experience. "These portable BĒT Vodka brand extensions represent our farm co-op story and serve was a physical link from the sugar beet fields of Northwest Minnesota to the urban environment of the Twin Cities," Brueshoff says. "In the nearly two months since the travel bar has launched, we have done several events, including baby showers, an office party to celebrate a magazine launch and pop-up collaborations with a few amazing bars and restaurants."

The BĒT Vodka travel bar offers three packages, Simplified, Sincere and Social. The Simplified package includes the travel bar and/or Henry to create your own bespoke cocktail party, photo shoot arrangement or event. It includes a 12-hour rental, delivery, set-up and pick-up for $400. The Sincere package includes set-up, tear-down of the travel bar, three hours of bar service for up to 50 people, one signature cocktail, one corresponding mocktail and one TABC-certified mixologist for $700. Lastly, the Social package includes set-up and tear-down of the travel bar, three hours of bar services, for up to 100 people, two signature cocktails, one corresponding mocktail and two TABC-certified mixologists for $1,000. Drinkware, juices, mixers, bitters, syrups, shrubs and garnishes are also included for the Sincere and Social packages.

"The BĒT Vodka travel bar is customizable depending on the size of your party. We recommend the Sincere package for up to 50 people, the Social package for up to 100 people, and the Simplified package is great for any size if you have your own staff on hand," Brueshoff says.

BĒT Vodka offers several signature drinks, including its classic Italian Negroni, "The Padrone," its take on a gimlet, "Sublime," and mixed drinks with its vast vodka selection and soda or tonic water.

Earlier this month, The Dayton’s Project unveiled the first of several installations in the Dayton’s skyways. The whole development is on schedule to open this spring and will include retail shopping and direct access to the food hall on the lower level.  

 

CWT was recently awarded a $450,000 grant by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, one of only six Minnesota companies selected this year.

The grant comes from the Job Creation Fund, which targets companies that are creating high-paying jobs in the state, while making the needed capital investments to support that growth. CWT is aiming to recruit 75 people over the next three years. It’s currently renovating its leased spaces at 701 Carlson Parkway to make way for the new hires.
