One of the country’s largest independent trade show organizers, Corcoran Expositions, have retained two new trade shows and renewed with a third organization, extending an 15-year relationship.

“We are excited to be working with the Electronic Transactions Association and Emergency Nurses Association in producing their upcoming trade shows,” says Tom Corcoran, founder of the 26-year-old Corcoran Exhibitions. “While we look forward to working with these new clients, we are equally excited when long-time clients decide to continue working with us.”

Corcoran Expositions will provide the exhibit marketing and management services for Electronic Transactions Association’s show, TRANSACT 17, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Last year, the show attracted 4,000 attendees and 200-plus companies.

For the Emergency Nurses Association’s Emergency Nursing 2017 show, Corcoran Expositions will provide exhibit and sponsorship marketing as well as management services. The trade show will take place at America’s Convention Complex in St. Louis, Mo. Last year, the show drew 3,500 attendees and 245 companies.

Corcoran Expositions’ 15-year client, The International City/County Management Association, will continue their relationship, receiving exhibit and sponsorship marketing, and management services from the company. Their 2017 show, ICMA Annual Conference & Exposition, will be held in San Antonio, Texas. Their 2015 show had 3,000 attendees and 200 companies.

Where did the time go? It has been more than two years since the pandemic began, and networking has evolved into a hybrid of in-person and on-screen communication. Yet, building relationships remains the same. Be clear, consistent, and kind, and you will build powerful and engaged relationships.

As events return to in-person, it’s beneficial to use your new online skills to grow a network. Building your habits to combine on- and off-screen connections results in stronger relationships and, therefore, more success.

Located smack dab in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth, less than a three-hour flight from either the West or East Coasts, is the city of Irving.

In 1927, Hilton Hotels’ founder Conrad Hilton said, "Abilene, Texas, will be well prepared to handle large conventions and please the most fastidious visitor." Nearly 95 years later, Abilene has fulfilled this vision and is excited to welcome back the Hilton family of hotels in the heart of downtown Abilene with a recently announced DoubleTree by Hilton.
