D'Amico Catering has introduced a food truck that complements their Bushel & Peck café. The truck will operate at various on-street locations near the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, which houses the recently updated café.
Operating daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of October, the Bushel & Peck food truck offers burgers, plain or loaded fries, a brisket sandwich and a chili cheese dog. There is also a chicken, mango and avocado salad or a grain and vegetable bowl for diners seeking a light and healthy meal.
D'Amico Catering has officially opened Bushel & Peck, the Mill City Museum's new cafe.
An approachble lunch menu, new weekend brunch, and wine and beer options round out the menu. Later this spring, the cafe will fill with fully updated décor; a food truck also is in the works.
A Minneapolis staple with over 30 years in the culinary industry, D’Amico Catering will be opening a new property this March. Located adjacent to Loring Park, Loring Social features two main rooms for private events. The formal Waverly Room boasts beautiful views of the Basilica of Saint Mary, a refurbished terrazzo marble floor, oversized vintage elevator doors and glass sconces. It can host 165 people for a reception, 90 for a buffet and 110 for a plated dinner.

Minnesota may be known as the "Land of Lakes," but it could be referred to as the “Land of Historic Sites,” as well. From Grand Rapids to the Twin Cities to Red Wing, there is a cornucopia of historic venues in state that recall the days of yore. The following are 10 renowned spots that will take you back in time.
St. James Hotel, Red Wing
This drink was originally developed for a small private party, who requested an earthy fall menu for their in-home dinner. They knew they wanted something more savory than sweet, so between the beets and the hint of balsamic vinegar, this was the perfect match. Beets have been incredibly popular for the past few years, but I love that this drink showcases them in an unconventional way.”
