Meeting Professionals International’s annual World Education Congress was held in Minneapolis—which exhibited its “City by Nature” setting—this past August. For three days, attendees networked and learned innovative ways to plan meetings in a mix of formal and fun activities. Guests danced and socialized at Mill City Museum at the opening night celebration, found new resources at Career and Learning Central, mingled with suppliers at MarketSquare, participated in a day of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and enjoyed the outdoors at Peavey Plaza and Orchestra Hall during the closing night party.

Explore Minnesota Tourism is accepting nominations for the agency’s tourism awards through Jan. 10, 2023. The awards honor people, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives that promote Minnesota as a destination.

To be considered for an award, a form must be submitted for each nomination. Please share specific details about each nomination including examples, goals, results, return on investment figures, accomplishments, etc. Supporting documents and creative elements help the Explore Minnesota Awards Committee score each submission.

The Roger Toussaint Award is the highest honor from the Minnesota Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
