In addition to the exclusive Nordstrom Shopping Package announced this fall, the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America now also offers tiny travelers and their dolls the VIP treatment during their stay with the new American Girl Package.

Like the hotel’s Nordstrom Exclusive Shopping Package (which provides guests with $100 Nordstrom gift cards for each night of their stay, $50 in dining at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America’s Cedar + Stone, Urban Table restaurant each night, and a personal stylist/shopper at Nordstrom upon request), the American Girl Doll Package includes an exclusive American Girl brand doll-sized travel bed for guests to keep, turn down service for small guests and their doll beds, milk and cookies, and a personal welcome letter from the general manager. The Deluxe American Girl Package also includes breakfast for two adults and two children, and an exclusive American Girl Doll Robe and Slippers.

“With the numerous opportunities available to guests at the Mall of America, we wanted to offer visitors a truly refined experience to personalize their trip,” said General Manager Lars Danneberg. “We are excited to offer these two special packages for the holiday season to enhance each guests’ stay with us.”

The American Girl Doll Package starts at $201 per night, plus taxes and gratuity. Click here for more information about the Nordstrom Exclusive Shopping Package or the American Girl Doll Package.

The picturesque area of east central Minnesota just got even more interesting after its local craft beverage producers decided to team up. Several breweries, wineries, a distillery and a cidery make up the East Central Beverage Trail, bringing visitors and locals their favorite craft beverages with the backdrop of Isanti, Pine, and Kanabec counties. The trail consists of eight locations with their own specialty creations. Just take your pick, and you’re on your way.

This week, hundreds of local young professionals will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to escape the stresses and responsibilities of their day to day lives, no paid time off or carry-on needed. (and a surprise guest appearance from Current DJ Mark Wheat). But what exactly goes into planning the Walker’s biggest event of the year?
