Kapow Events Makes Its Way From Chicago to Minneapolis

Kapow Events, a unique online marketplace for corporate outings, kicked off operations in Minneapolis with the launching of its website on June 1. Kapow offers a wide range of event options, featuring highly regarded venues with reputable locations including cultural institutions, spectator events, restaurants, bars and many more.

“Typically, we’re working with companies with 10 or more people that want to go offsite for an event,” says John Waller, general manager of Kapow’s Minneapolis location. “We serve as the liaison for the corporate clients and venues and create very creative and thoughtful experiences.”

As a bustling metropolis and home to a vast number of Fortune 500 companies, Minneapolis is a prime location for Kapow. “The demand from corporate clients for corporate events in Minneapolis is very high,” Waller says. “I think Minnesota businesses will benefit greatly from having Kapow in their backyard.”

Kapow takes the stress out of event planning, allowing clients to leave the work to Kapow’s experienced team of industry pros. “If someone is planning an event, they’re usually doing it by themselves,” Waller says. “By handling the planning for them, we’re giving them that time back.”

“Clients are likely to talk about these events for years to come,” Waller adds. “It’s exciting to be working with the team and creating memorable experiences for people.”

Tucked in Minneapolis’ Harrison neighborhood lies the latest addition to the city’s craft distilling scene. But unlike other distilleries, newcomer Royal Foundry Craft Spirits (RFCS) is focused on more than stills and spirits; the distillery was designed as an event destination.

Minnesota has a bounty of venues that are made for sharing on social media.
