Kohler Waters Spa has announced expansion plans for 2018 at the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond Destination Kohler. The renovation will feature nine new treatment rooms, expansive common space with seating around the spa’s relaxation pool and a luxurious bridal suite. The spa will continue to be open during its renovation process taking place from February to June 2018.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our internationally acclaimed spa to cater to both our loyal guests and a new group of travelers,” said Garrett Mersberger, Director of Wellness, Kohler Co. “In order to better accommodate our growing guest interest, we were motivated to add treatment rooms and space in the common areas. We’ve also noticed a trend in larger bridal parties and girlfriend getaway trips, and wanted to provide a special space where these parties can relax and enjoy their time together.”

The renovation will undergo two phases, first one from February to March and the second taking place April to May. The first phase of the renovation will be moving the spa offices to the Appley Theatre at The American Club, allowing for guests to enjoy two treatment rooms with a friend or loved one. In addition, nine new treatment rooms will be designed for massage and salon offerings, as well as a new café with indoor and outdoor seating.

The second phase will consist of removing the relaxation pool, the formal bride suite will be constructed with a beautifully lit room and ample space for larger parties. Also, the innovative and new spa menu will launch on June 1st, which will be available at Burr Ridge, I11., and Kohler Co.’s newest property, LODGE KOHLER in Green Bay, Wis.

The American Club, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2018, will also be renovating, starting on January 2. The renovation will include a revamped underground and aboveground parking. The main building, restaurants, and shops will be closed from January 2-31, opening only on Fridays and Saturdays throughout February and March. All operations will be expected to open on April 1. Overnight rooms will be available throughout the week in the main building, and the guest entrance will remain open on the west side until late June 2018.

Standing in the Emery's lobby, where live greenery thrives and natural light streams in, it's hard to believe that this used to be Hotel Minneapolis. Emery is still an Autograph Collection hotel, like Hotel Minneapolis was, but it is, for all intents and purposes, a new, not just renovated, hotel.

The Emery Hotel recently opened its doors to guests, just in time for visitors of the NCAA Final Four tournament. Originally Midland Bank, the building was constructed in 1906, and the new hotel space is fully embracing its rich history.

If the on-the-edge-of-your-seat basketball games or endless events around Minneapolis aren't enough to keep you interested in the NCAA Final Four tournament this weekend, the newly announced menu items sure will be. U.S. Bank Stadium's food and beverage provider, Aramark, just released its Final Four menu, and it's delicious enough to turn anyone into a basketball fan.
