Madden’s on Gull Lake plans to renovate its resort property throughout the winter. The renovation is set to finish spring, 2018 and will include updates to the lake house, pool deck and dining amenities.

Madden’s is located on Minnesota’s Gull Lake. The resort currently has over 1,000 acres that include 293 guest rooms, 42,000 square feet of meeting space, 63 holes of golf, a lakeside spa, and other recreation.

“Our focus for this year’s renovations is not only to provide an up-to-date, stylish and fresh look to many of our accommodations and guest spaces but also to our dining facilities,” says Abbey Pieper, chief of sales and marketing.

Once Madden’s lakehouse is renovated, it will include seven bedrooms, a full kitchen, an indoor gathering area with many amenities, a bonfire and a dock.

The Madden Inn & Golf Club pool deck will be resurfaced and replaced. The new deck will have a soft, durable surface that’s safe and comfortable for guests.

The Restaurant at Madden Inn and The Dining Room at Madden Lodge will receive interior remodels and organization rebrands. Furthermore, outdoor lakeside dining will be offered to the public.

Pieper is confident this list of renovations will be an outward expression of sincere customer care. “We take pride in continuing to invest in our guests’ experiences and offering outstanding service.”

Madden’s on Gull Lake opens for it’s 89th season April 20, 2018.

Earlier this month, The Dayton’s Project unveiled the first of several installations in the Dayton’s skyways. The whole development is on schedule to open this spring and will include retail shopping and direct access to the food hall on the lower level.

CWT was recently awarded a $450,000 grant by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, one of only six Minnesota companies selected this year.

The grant comes from the Job Creation Fund, which targets companies that are creating high-paying jobs in the state, while making the needed capital investments to support that growth. CWT is aiming to recruit 75 people over the next three years. It’s currently renovating its leased spaces at 701 Carlson Parkway to make way for the new hires.

The Minnesota State Fair is essentially a red carpet event for Minnesotans. That is, if red carpet events include food that is either fried, on a stick, or both. To celebrate the great love that Minnesotans have for their state, Radisson Blu Mall of America is offering state fair-themed meetings.
