On Saturday, June 8, Minnesota Cider Guild will be hosting the 6th annual Minnesota Cider Fest at St. Paul's Como Lakeside Pavilion. In addition to samplings of 100 different ciders from more than 30 Minnesota, national and international cideries, the Minnesota Cider Fest will offer cider education sessions and food from Spring Café and Red River Kitchen

“This is a great fest to start summer, and it gives both cider fans and people new to cider a wonderful setting to celebrate the beverage and discover its many styles,” says Nate Watters, president of the Minnesota Cider Guild and owner of Keepsake Cidery in Dundas, Minnesota. “We are excited to showcase what Minnesota cider makers have to offer and to create new cider fans within our evolving category.”

Minnesota Cider Fest will be the cap on Minnesota Cider Week, June 3-8. Other events of the week include food and cider pairings, special cider releases and more. Minnesota Cider Fest runs from 2-5 p.m., with first taste access of special releases from 1-2 p.m. Tickets are available online for $50 or $60 for the first taste access. If still available, tickets will be sold for $70 at the door for early entry or $60 for general admission. Tickets for designated drivers are $10. All attendees, including designated drivers, must be 21 years or older. Tickets include unlimited cider samples and a souvenir tasting glass.

You can purchase tickets online at www.eventbrite.com.
