The Minnesota State Fair is essentially a red carpet event for Minnesotans. That is, if red carpet events include food that is either fried, on a stick, or both. To celebrate the great love that Minnesotans have for their state, Radisson Blu Mall of America is offering state fair-themed meetings.

"The Radisson Blu wants to ensure that everyone can enjoy the flavors of the state fair all year round. Even when it is 30 degrees below zero, a pronto pup and some mini donuts can bring you right back to the warm summer days of the State Fair," the hotel staff says.

The Minnesota State Fair-themed meetings offer every state fair delicacy from caramel apples, waffles on a stick, mini corn dogs, fresh juices and smoothies, and even spaghetti and meatballs on a stick.

"We have showcased our Minnesota State Fair menu to small groups of 15, late night snacks to Weddings as well a large corporate groups of 350+!"

Groups can maximize their state fair experience with the free shuttle that runs from the hotel to the fair.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Sunday recommended that all gatherings of more than 50 people be cancelled or postponed for the next eight weeks, in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. The recommendation covers events like parades, concerts, festivals, conferences, sporting events, weddings and more.

Gone without regional and national recognition, over the years the City of Roseville has been overlooked and even mistaken for being somewhere in St. Paul. In 2016, the Visit Roseville partnered with DestinationNext to strategically plan and determine priorities for Visit Roseville to pursue in the future to receive more recognition. After taking a self-assessment using an online diagnostic toolkit, Visit Roseville was able to establish a course of action.

On Monday, Nov. 4, Zen Box Izakaya and Lowry Hill Meats are partnering for a Butcher x Ramen Popup from 5-9 p.m. at Lowry Hill Meats. Featuring Japanese comfort food like barnyard ramen and fiery bird ramen, as well as fine cuts of meat like smoked pork brisket and smoked chicken leg, the Butcher x Ramen Popup will offer the best of these Minneapolis food scene icons.
