• Radisson Blu Mall of America promotes Anastasi

Radisson Blu Mall of America promoted Kate Anastasi to director of sales and marketing. Anastasi has been with the Radisson Blu Mall of America team for eight years and has held many support and leadership roles within the sales team. She had most recently served as the assistant director of sales and marketing. Anastasi won the 2021 Radisson Blu Manager of the Year award.  

“Kate’s leadership and track record in promoting the hotel, creating memorable events, and providing the best experience for our guests has been undeniable,” says Alex Francis, general manager of Radisson Blu Mall of America. “Over the past several years, she’s risen to the challenges and has remained steadfast in her drive to find new and innovative ways to serve our guests.”  

Anastasi created and implemented several new guest offerings at the hotel including on-trend hotel packages for guests. Most recently, Anastasi spearheaded the creation of the hotel’s Wellness Rooms with lululemon athletica’s MIRROR, which provide guests with unlimited access to state-of-the-art fitness experiences in their hotel rooms.  

In her new role, Anastasi will oversee all sales and marketing initiatives, grow the group and catering business, and further develop the sales and marketing team.   

“It has been an honor to work at one of the best hotel properties in the Twin Cities, especially over the past couple of years where the hospitality industry saw a lot of highs and lows,” says Anastasi. “I can honestly say that we have the best, hardest-working and most creative team that strives to provide guests with the best experience possible, which makes my job much easier. I’m excited about the year ahead and the opportunity to continue to serve our guests and grow our business.” 

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is ranked No. 1 in the country for mega airports in terms of customer satisfaction in the 2022 North American Airport Satisfaction Survey by research firm J.D. Power. Mega airports see more than 33 million passengers annually.

The study, conducted between August 2021 and July 2022, gauged traveler satisfaction in terminal facilities; airport arrival/departure; baggage claim; security checkpoints; check-in/baggage check; and food, beverage, and retail. More than 26,000 recent travelers completed the survey.
